This tee is the tits, and as much as I hate using this word, it literally is.


I saw the top on Caitlin Heath's Instagram at the start of the week. I'm quite partial to a silly t-shirt, so I didn't even have to think twice about googling it, because I knew I had to have it. Particularly this one because I've never actually had massive tits.

At first I thought this tshirt was about representin' all us ladies with the small ass boobies, but then on researching it after the purchase, the message actually goes a little further. The t-shirt pays reference to the Free The Nipple campaign - an equality movement fighting the censorship of women - because if lads can get their nips out, why can't the gals? Not only is there an equality movement but a Netflix feature film, a considerable social media presence and a hashtag to help spread the love - #FreeTheNipple.

Amongst the social media presence, there's a whole beautiful Instagram dedicated to ladies trying to break the stigma. Instagram will delete an image where a females nipples are published, and the photo-sharing app has received it's fair share of criticism over all of this. Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom says the company is "committed to artistic freedom", but insists that they're safe playing censorship is all down to Apple. Seems a bit shit to blame someone else, but Apple's App Store says that any apps containing nudity must carry a 17 and over age rating.

Australian and U.S based actress, Caitlin Stasey, 26, launched her badass webisite - Herself - in early 2015. This outspoken lady is all about female body empowerment. Her Instagram is full of topless selfies all in support of the campaign. At the launch party of her new website she wore one of these tee's to support the cause. Go on sista.

Give 'Em the Old Razzle Dazzle

It is of no surprise that I love anything sparkly/shining/glittering. Every woman has the essentials in their bag, hair brush, tub of vaseline, or the spare tampon, but I always carry an emergency vile of glitter in my bag, because let's face it, you never know when it might come in use. I have found myself, on many occasions, making best friends with random women in the ladies bathroom and asking them do they want some glitter on their face, all in the name of spreading the sparkle love.

Running low on my glitter essentials, I was going to make my trip down to Escapade in Camden to stock up. They have a huge selection of glitter pots. Granted it's a fancy dress shop, these little tubs are affordable and do the job on all my previous experiences. However, A couple of months ago I came across Dust and Dance on Instagram and decided to give Claire and her products a go instead.

The well organised, colourful website is literally the glitter lovers dream, and she encourages her customers to share their experiences on social media. It's great to see a brand so engaged with their audience, it really helps to create this new brand's identity.

It's also great to see a start-up brand with an active role in trying to do some good in the world. The brands relatable personality comes with Claire's decision to donate 10% of the profit from each product sold to Young Minds mental health charity. "These days I embrace the fact I'am a bit bonkers, as it makes me me", she said speaking about her own issues with mental health which she faced in her teens and 20s.

"It was these issues that made me choose a less conventional career path, led me to meet some inspiring people and ultimately have landed me in the very exciting place where I have to decided to start Dust and Dance". She added; "It is my hope that Dust and Dance will help some more young people get their sparkle back".
